Over the years I have had many opportunities to work with real estate agents as a buyer, seller, renter and lessee. Most recently I had the opportunity to list the sale of my home with Nelson and am glad to say that it was a terrific experience and one of the best real estate agents I have ever worked with. I have experienced far too many agents who do nothing more than post listings online, are present for open houses, and leave everything up to others – virtually guaranteeing either not getting the best sale price for your home or letting perfectly good deals crumble.

All of these skills translate into a job well done and to buyer and seller’s satisfaction. Ultimately achieving a good deal is the best a seller hopes for. Being that your home is an important asset it’s important to put it in the hands of the best agent to represent it. Now that I have worked with Nelson I would not put my home in the hands of any other agent. It’s too important a decision in life to take chances or stress out about.

Nelson Salazar is the Terminator of realtors. He just won't stop, he is driven. Nelson has helped us buy and sell on 4 different occasions, and in every case he went above and beyond the call of duty - even helping us rearrange living room furniture on his day off so our property would show better. I cringe when I think of anyone in the Katonah/Bedford area doing business with anybody other than Nelson. It will cost them in the end, and will no doubt be more stressful than it needs to be - unless they use Nelson.

We found our experience with Nelson Salazar to be superlative. We had approached Nelson with a very specific wish list, no real time frame on looking for a house, and no real sense of urgency to move. When a house across town came on the market, Nelson reached out to us, suggesting that we take a look. And while I was somewhat intrigued, my husband was not at all interested in even taking a look. When Nelson did finally persuade him to see the house, my husband returned unimpressed. This is where Nelson's expertise began to reveal itself. Rather than giving up, Nelson stayed in contact with us, and ultimately persuaded my husband to come look at the house again. Somehow, in this second visit, Nelson inspired my husband to see that this could, in fact, be the perfect house for us. My husband returned from the visit to tell me that he had put in an offer! Amazing. Over the course of the next few weeks we witnessed Nelson’s remarkable negotiation skills, as he navigated his way through multiple offers on that house while still securing a price that we were thrilled with. With our offer accepted on the new place, Nelson then helped us get our current residence ready for an open house that WEEK! This entailed working tirelessly beside us as we decluttered small children's toys and ten year's worth of life accumulation. He staged multiple open houses and was able to go to contract on our current house within a month. Our friends told us that it couldn't be done, that it's so difficult to pull off a simultaneous sale and purchase in the same week, especially in the declining real estate market we were in. But, amazingly, Nelson did it. He was with us every step of the way including both home inspections. He responded to any question we had immediately. He even had great ideas on getting the most optimal space on the house we purchased and he helped measure the interior house floors so we could gauge some interior renovation costs. We can not say enough good things about our experience with Nelson Salazar and we will continue to recommend him to friends and acquaintances, as we've done over the past few years. Needless to say, we love our house!
